Bukedi bee keepers asociation (BUBA) was established in 2018 and registerd in 2022 as a non government organization(NGO) in uganda.
The association was formed with the purpose of bringing together beekeepers in bukedi sub-region in eastern uganda in bid to transform beekeeping into profitable, community serving and environmentally sustainable industry in the region.
The organization is built on a holistic approach of promoting bee keeping and environment(sustainable environment, education and development) all of which are built around the most pressing and directly expressed needs of disadvantaged communities.
The four cross-departmental collaboration programs os sustainable livelihoods, environmental consevation, market linkages & education ,maximizes progress towards BUBA1`s central vision and mission.
